Grahame Park London

abaadmin

Grahame Park was a competition for a mixed use residential led scheme, focusing on creating a symbolic landmark building, to mark the southern most point of the Grahame Park redevelopment, bringing together the existing and new community of Grahame Park.

The Trilliant Tower’’s pale turquoise colour, shimmering reflective brick and curved corners were designed to resemble a smoothly polished gem, standing out among the buildings of the local as something exquisite and rare.

A range of balconies, recessed terraces and full height windows, arranged in an illusory pattern, were designed to animate the entire building facade, meeting the public realm in a clearly defined residential streetscape.

The Community Centre at the heart of the scheme is a colourful and highly glazed ‘pavilion’ nestled at the foot of the tower, conceived as a gathering place, spill-out area for the community hall and venue for informal performances. At the tower’s summit is a community observation deck with spectacular views to the south.
