Robert joined Alison Brooks Architects in April 2019 as Communications and Business Development Manager, and is responsible for PR, marketing and bids; ensuring that the work of the practice is appreciated and clearly understood.
As a writer, designer and communicator, Robert has over twenty years’ experience of working in architecture with some of the UK’s top practices. During this time he has developed an expertise in the art of communicating architecture in different ways; including graphic design, drawing, film, public relations, writing, business development and internal communications. After a career sabbatical he graduated with a Masters in Architecture from the University of East London in 2017.
Prior to joining the team, Robert was Head of Communications at PLP Architecture, and has led the Communications Team at Allies and Morrison. He regularly contributes articles to the architectural press, and is currently researching and writing a book about the urbanism of the Pacific West Coast.
