Jean-Paul Teal

Jean-Paul joined Alison Brooks Architects in 2020, and is working towards public consultation and detailed planning proposals for a mixed use development of two tall residential buildings at the International Quarter in Stratford. The project will include commercial space, a creche, and over 330 homes.
With excellent technical CAD knowledge, Jean-Paul is an expert in guiding projects through BIM, including family creation, and use of Dynamo for streamlining workflows and automating processes. He is responsible for managing Revit models and overseeing BIM practices within the team. Jean-Paul’s has a particular interest and knowledge of facade detailing, having been involved in the delivery of many facade packages for residential and commercial projects.
Prior to joining ABA, Jean-Paul worked with Patel Taylor, acting as facade package lead architect for a residential project. Before this, he spent time at Roger’s Stirk Harbour on the scheme design phase of a commercial project. His Part 2 experience was gained at Pascall + Watson, where he spent four years working on a range of commercial and masterplanning projects, including within the aviation sector.
Having gained his degree and masters at Glasgow School of Art and the University of the West of England respectively, Jean-Paul has recently gained his Part 3 PgDip qualifications from the University of Westminster.
