Ross McDonald


BArch (Hons), MArch, ARB

Ross joined ABA in 2011 after graduating from Dundee School of Architecture, University of Dundee, where he gained his BArch (Hons) and MArch.

At Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios in Bath, Ross was involved with a range of further education schemes: the £128m North Devon College (stages C–F); the design development of £23m Manchester Metropolitan University Art School and £22m Brighton Aldridge Community Academy. He was also involved in a charity initiative to improve the living conditions for the Topnaar Community in Namibia.

Since joining ABA in 2011, Ross has worked on a number of regeneration residential developments. Ross has been responsible for delivering Bath Riverside B1/B2 to RIBA Stage D, a 26 unit mixed use development, and the design of £60m Helsinki Central Public Library as part of a two-stage competition. Ross has also been involved in the delivery of South Kilburn Phase 2a as well as the delivery on site of Belsize Lane, a 600m² private dwelling in Hampstead.
