Emaad Damda


BSc (Hons), MArch, ARB

Emaad joined Alison Brooks Architects in 2015 on graduating from the University of Bath, where he received first class honours for both his BSc (Hons) and MArch. Emaad gained his RIBA Part III in 2017.

He was previously employed by Avanti Architects in London, focussing on healthcare and education projects, as well as Stonewood Design in Bath, working on finely crafted houses and extensions within listed buildings and conservation areas. Emaad has also worked on construction sites, building innovative timber structures for the AA Summerbuild at Hooke Park, and social housing for low-income families in Costa Rica.

During his time at ABA Emaad has worked on an architectural design code for PRS housing and on the delivery stages of the Northwest Cambridge Development’s Veteran Oak Quarter. He designed ABA’s limited edition catalogue, ‘Ideals then Ideas’, for the practice’s 21st anniversary, and was also involved on the Exeter College Cohen Quad in Oxford.
